Louise (Lou) Loeber (Dutch, 1894–1983)

The De Stijl-influenced artist Lou Loeber (Dutch, 1894–1983) created these two variations of a poster—the text is identical, but the abstract images at top differ—for a joint exhibition of her work and that of her partner Dirk Koning (Dutch, 1888–1978) in Blaricum, The Netherlands. The couple met in 1929 and married in 1931.
