Opening this week at New York’s Center for Italian Modern Art (CIMA) is the exhibition Bruno Munari: The Child Within (October 6, 2022—January 14, 2023). Organized by Steven Guarnaccia, an illustrator and Professor Emeritus of Parsons School of Design, the exhibition “will focus on Munari’s children’s books and will demonstrate how his experimental and commercially produced publications expressed his wide-ranging ideas about the possibilities art offered to communicate visually.” We are delighted to be able to support this exhibition with the loan of two books by Munari, as seen above and below. Additional holdings by Munari can be viewed in our 2017 publication, Bruno Munari: Works from the Merrill C. Berman Collection, written by our colleague and friend Nicola Lucchi, Managing Director of CIMA.
