In 1933, Vittorio Osvaldo Tommasini (Italian, 1879–1964) published a volume of Futurist poetry entitled Noi miliardario della fantasia (We, the billionaires of fantasy), with typography by Enrico Prampolini and an introduction by F. T. Marinetti. The volume’s cover featured a photograph of the poet in an “aluminum lyrical helmet,” paired with his pseudonym—Farfa—arranged as a distinctive typographical monogram. The same monogram is stamped on the versos of the artist’s three aeropittura-related drawings shown here.
