We previously featured some of these photographs by Russian avant-garde photographer Boris Ignatovich (Russian, 1899–1976) in the early days of Russia’s offensive. The above photograph is from a series shot at the Azovstal’ metallurgy plant in Mariupol’, Ukraine. Now, after many months of relentless attack, we share these images again as they remain sadly relevant.
