One of the world’s most important collections of German graphic design, holdings span the turn-
of-the- twentieth century, to the Weimar period, through the 1990s. Notable designers include:
Gerd Arntz, Willi Baumeister, Herbert Bayer, Max Burchartz, Walter Dexel, John Heartfield, Fritz
Schliefer, Oskar Schlemmer, Joost Schmidt, Georg Trump, and Jan Tschichold.

German Dada holdings include works by: Johannes Baader, George Grosz, Raoul Hausmann,
John Heartfiled, and Hannah Höch.

Neue Sachlichkeit holdings include works by: Carl Grossberg, Karl Hubbuch, Grethe Jürgens,
Gerta Overbeck-Schenk, Rudolf Schlichter, Georg Scholz, Ernst Thoms, Erich Wegner.
